Whether she's hunting for whitetail, Toms, or in this case giant Canadian bears, there's no doubt Tiff is known for keepin a cool head and a steady hand no matter what kind of prey, or shot she is presented with.Lee & Tiff just returned from Alberta, Canada where they hunted with Al and Brenda Trider at Green Island Outfitters. The scenery and the hospitality are as good as it gets...not to mention the company we were in!  We were joined by our friends from Mathews and Hunter safety Systems.  Big George from Bullseye put the entire trip together and we had such an amazing experience, we are already planning our return trip for next year!We saw more bears on this hunt than any other we have ever been on.  Black bears come in a variety of color variations and we couldn't believe the awesome "rainbow" of  black, brown, blonde, and cinnamon colored coats that we saw!   When Lee wasn't in the stands, he was busy shooting and checking cameras.  He was waiting for a giant, but just didn't get the opportunity this time around.  He can't wait to get back next year to hopefully get another shot at the select few he had his sites set on! Tiff proved yet again that she can hold her own, AND THEN SOME, with the boys when she connected from 15 yards out with her biggest bear to date, almost 7 ft tall with a 20" skull.  Thanks to Mathews, Hunters Safety System, and Green Island Outfitters for the great camaraderie and the great experience!!   After a long drive, we are finally back home and off to put up trail cameras and spray fields....weather permitting that is....  :)
