A lot to be Thankful for...New Day, New Farm, New Monster CRUSHED
Friday, November 26, 2010
It was Nov 5 and Tiffany & cameraman Nate Delong were hunting on a new farm. Of course the story doesn't start there. It never does! This new farm took a lot of work...
As soon as the farm was purchased this past summer, the Lakoksys began dozing it to plant food plots, and setting up cameras.
Lee checking the Cuddeback. Per the Lakoksys, they started getting pics of some awesome deer right away.

Tiff's buck just days before she crushed him.
What's that saying about "it takes a village"? Well, it takes a group to Crush an Iowa Monster Buck
Gregg Ritz, "Tank", Tiffany, Gary Castine and Lee - late season planting on the new farm.
Tiffany says Nov 5 was a beautiful morning, and she and Nate were seeing smaller bucks chasing does right away. They could also see a bigger buck way down the hill chasing some does, but he disappeared right back into the timber. It wasn't even 10am when they spotted a doe running, with a a big buck close behind her.
"They both came right by us and was so awesome as he snort wheezed 20 yards away from us. When he continued walking and came right by our stand, I shot and crushed him," Tiffany said.
Is all the hard work of a new farm worth it? Well Tiffany thinks so! Congrats on another Iowa BBD!
It was the start to an awesome week of hunting, with Gregg Ritz and Al Kraus in camp, and of course with Lee still hunting.
Peace, Love & Happy Thanksgiving!
