Happy Happy NEW YEAR to all the Driven Fans out there! We had a great 2011 with family and friends but 2012 is going to be better! First of all I'd like to start out by telling everyone after 4 1/2 years together Pat proposed to me on Christmas Eve night with the 4 children there. It was a very special time for us as a family. Everyone cried and the kids were so excited that we are now making it "official". They all told us this was the best Christmas ever! Pat and I have been very blessed over the past years and all we ask for that 2012 brings good health, safety and happiness to everyone out there. We know our 2012 is going to be the best yet as a family! Lots to celebrate and be thankful for!I kicked 2012 off with a bang, literally! After 2 years in the making I tagged a nice Iowa Buck at the Zoo. The weather has been warm and windy, not good for deer hunting. I lucked out and caught this big 8 coming into an Evolved Foodplot one evening and let my Pink T/C bark! A special thanks to Chad Yates and Donnie Hansen at the Zoo for a great hunt!!
More to be THANKFUL FOR! Over the past 5 years everyone here at Driven TV has worked day in and day out to make our television show one of the best out there. The quality of footage, animals and personalities have come together to make Driven one of the top rated shows on the Outdoor Channel. The 12th Annual Golden Moose Awards are coming up and we couldn't be more excited to announce that Driven has been nominated for 6 different awards plus 3 other Fan Favorite awards. (The Golden Moose Awards are like the Country Music Awards for the Outdoor Industry.) The categories we are nominated in as follows: 1) Best Overall Production 2) Best Videography 3) Best Show Opening Montage 4) Best Big Game Footage 5) Best Deer Footage 6) Best Sound Design 7) Fan Favorite Hosts 8) Fan Favorite Hunting Series 9) Fan Favorite Overall Series Most of you know that Pat has worked over the past 20 years in the outdoor industry. His time and dedication that goes into filming and producing Driven TV is over and above what anyone probably understands unless you have walked step for step with him. It's not nearly as easy as it looks on tv. You don't see the many hours spent in the editing room with editor Adam Helwig helping to produce the show, as well as the hours and days afield helping to get the right shots and animals needed to produce the quality television that Driven TV brings the viewer. We wanted to take this time to thank each and every one of you out there that has ever watched and supported Driven TV. Our family and Friends/Fans are all very valuable to us here at Driven and we wish each one of you and your families much happiness, good health and safety in 2012.
Always remember to Stay Driven and Happy Hunting! Show season is coming up, stop in and say hi to the Driven Team if we are attending a Deer Show near you! We'd love to hear your hunting stories!Nicole, Pat and Driven Team
