Babe Winkelman’s Golf against MS  For you folks out there that don’t know, my daughter Jasmine was diagnosed with MS in 2010. Having first hand experience with this disease, I know how it can affect a person’s daily life and well-being. In an attempt to increase awareness and raise funds to fight this disease, we'll be hosting a golf event this summer.  Babe Winkelman’s Golf against MS will kick off Saturday July 19th, 2014 at Cragun’s Legacy Courses, 11496 E Gull Lake Dr, Brainerd, MN 56401.  This event will have an 8AM shotgun start on the Dutch Legacy. Lunch will follow the round of golf, which will consist of a Burger & Brat Buffet. Mulligans will be available for purchase during registration. There will also be on the course contest, including pin events and hole-in-one prizes.  This tournament will consist of four man teams. Entry fee is $125 per player. This fee includes: 18 holes of golf, GPS cart, sleeve of balls, range balls, and lunch.  Get involved and register today. Proceeds go to the MS society. The entry deadline for this event is July 4th, 2014.  “Getting involved in the golf against MS event gives me a sense of doing. MS was taking over my life, but participating in an event like this is contributing towards a good cause. I have had many struggles with MS, but this event gives me the opportunity to give back, inspire, and get others involved. We want to people to become aware and learn the impacts of MS, while raising funds to put an end to this disease.” – Jasmine Winkelman  Contact: Greg Kaiser 218-851-6828 or gkaiser@winkelman.com  About MS Society Multiple sclerosis (MS) society ‘s vision is to create a world free of multiple sclerosis.
