Union Sportsmen’s Alliance Debuts New Hunting & Fishing TV Series
on the Sportsman Channel, Celebrating American Workers
Nashville, TN—The Union Sportsmen’s Alliance will debut Brotherhood Outdoors, a unique hunting and fishing series that showcases the talents and passions of American workers at 8 p.m. (ET) on Thursdays, starting June 30 exclusively on Sportsman Channel.
Hosted by noted outdoorsman Tom Ackerman, Brotherhood Outdoors puts American workers in the spotlight, giving them the opportunity to join Ackerman for a quality outfitted North American trip of their choosing or to act as his guide, taking him to their favorite hunting or fishing location.
Each week, viewers will get an intimate glimpse into the lives of these unique, blue-collar characters, their passion for the outdoors and their desire to make a difference by volunteering for a cause, serving as a leader in their community or helping to carry on America’s outdoor legacy.
“We are extremely proud of our members and their commitment to the great outdoors,” said USA Executive Director, Fred Myers. “Partnering with Sportsman Channel allows us to honor some of the hardest working men and women in the country by showcasing their enthusiasm for hunting, fishing and conservation on national TV.”
Guests on this season’s episodes will include a mix of pipefitters, sheet metal workers, electrical workers, painters, firefighters and more, who pursue a variety of trophy fish and game throughout the country.
The premiere episode on June 30 will feature an adrenaline-pumping Texas Whitetail hunt with Jake Lovato a pipefitter, metal sculptor and avid community volunteer from Bernalillo, New Mexico.
The exclusive network of Brotherhood Outdoors and the USA, Sportsman Channel is the only television and digital media company fully devoted to the more than 82 million sportsmen and women in the United States.
“With millions of American workers participating in hunting, shooting and fishing activities, Brotherhood Outdoors is a strong addition to our third quarter lineup,” said Sportsman Channel CEO, Gavin Harvey. “It perfectly demonstrates our shared commitment to conservation and outdoor heritage.”
