Browning Introduces New Independence Knives for 2011.
Morgan, Utah - New in Browning's knife line-up for 2011 are the Independence knives that are made in the USA and designed by famed knife maker Russ Kommer. All materials are sourced in from American companies and their quality is evident from first glance. Functional designs have been tried and tested in real-world hunting situations to make certain their balance is perfect and their blades stay sharp.
Three folding models and three fixed blade models will be offered in the Independence series with blades made of USA 154 CM stainless steel Handles on fixed blade models are G-10 and folding models are G-10 or carbon fiber. Folder blade length is 3 1/8" and fixed blade model blade length is 3 ¾". Folder models feature a button lock and include a pocket clip. Fixed blade models are supplied with a made in USA top-grain leather sheath.
